When the 'beating' party arrived at Saint Helena's, South Scarle for a much needed rest, the ladies had prepared some beautifully presented tasty sandwiches, cream scones, and a much needed cup of tea. This was given a good home by the beaters. After a musical reception by the Rector on the church organ and a  little bell ringing welcome by Adrian, we all enjoyed an evensong to celebrate the 'Beating of the Bounds' in the Benefice.
