The 'Beaters' walked, cycled or otherwise assembled in Girton where a welcome awaited them in the Church Hall. A hard earned rest and a cuppa (or cold drink) served by Diz and Sally was very welcome.

All is quiet in the Village street, and expectant in the Village Hall as the 'beaters' approached from Besthorpe. The door is open, do come in . . .

Inside the hall, preparing the drinks, Sally and Diz put the kettle on for the badly needed cuppa . . .

Ah! This is good for the feet! A quiet rest in the Church precincts for the 'Young at Heart'.

Feet up for a spell, with a welcome cup of tea, and a chat about progress.

More walkers arrive for refreshment in the cool of the hall. This is a good cup! Come and join us.

Another corner of Girton Village Hall for a well earned rest, then off on the last lap to South Scarle . . .
