EAST TRENT CHURCHES
|
As part of the 2004 Girton Summer Festival the Church was florally decorated. A lovely village church decked out with beautiful floral decorations is a sight to behold. This one was a credit to all the people who worked so hard to perfect their art in such a lovely setting. Click photos below to enlarge, then . . . Welcome. Inside a lovely spray catches the eye.
The font and its associated windows are decked for the occasion.
A glance to the right affords a view of the gloriously decorated chancel.
A detail of the spray opposite the pulpit. And look at those beautifully embroidered cushions behind it!
What an ascent! The pulpit area in all its glory.
And finally a closer look at the altar and its superbly decorated window.
