Following
the Fun Weekend and Songs of Praise service at St Helena's, Colin and Judy
generously invited the voluntary choir, the Mummers' cast and friends to join them for supper at their
home, The Old Vicarage (fondly known as The Old Vic!).

The
arrival at the special Supper in Colin and Judy's garden at 'The Old Vic' in South
Scarle. Bathed in glorious evening sunshine, drinks and a good chat started the ball rolling.
Hello!
Fancy meeting you here, do you come here often? You sing in the Altos! Well,
there's a coincidence, so do I" Elizabeth and Sandra share a chuckle to
start the evening.
Cheers!
Tom and Denise raise their glasses to a successful service, and to our hosts in
front of their lovely home.
A
serious conversation (well, nearly serious!) about what happened in the
Mummers' Play. More of this anon.
Di
and Nikki et al outside the marquee. Teacher and ex-pupil - 'I didn't know you had
such a good singing voice'. 'Thank you Miss!'
Judy
joins Bella, Tina and the group for a little chat before launching into serving
the excellent meal she had prepared for the guests.
Just
one more before grub up? Come and get it . . .
Inside the
marquee, at a corner table. Conversation ranged over many current topics,
including the running and maintenance of a vintage Austin 7 car from the 1940s!
A
view of the garden from the marquee. Anne and David join a table for
refreshments. But don't stop conversing (or eating !).
Colin
and Judy settle for a few minutes (off duty) to enjoy a bite to eat, and chatting to their guests.
No doubt discussing the success of the weekend, in spite of very difficult
weather conditions.
Sylvia
takes a break from playing the organ to join Tom and Denise in a welcome bite.
Another
corner of the marquee. Margaret and Di chat over old times in the classroom,
among other things of course.
Rosalie
and Madge meet Heather over a bite to eat.
David
has an opportunity to relax and meet parishioners over a plate and a chat. The
end of a very busy and exciting weekend of South Scarle activities.
