Collingham Village is still thought of in two parts: North Collingham and South Collingham. All Saints' Church lies in the North, and St John the Baptist in the South. In the past, Collingham boasted two parishes and two vicarages (or rather a Vicarage in the North, and a Rectory in the South). Now the parish acts as one, showing lots of cooperation, although separate loyalties still persist.

Blossom04 1.jpg (155557 bytes)Looking across All Saints churchyard towards the tower, in North Collingham. A wonderful display of Spring blossom.

Blossom04 2.jpg (121523 bytes)More Spring blossom looking towards the cenotaph in All Saints churchyard.

All Saints 4.jpg (104731 bytes)All Saints Church, Collingham, in its Summer Livery. The green leaved trees and the shadows of early evening are quite dramatic, aren't they?

All Saints 5.jpg (123560 bytes)Paths on the North-west side of All Saints in dappled shade, looking towards the back gate (and its flood markers) on Low Street. The fallen leaves, reminiscent of Autumn, were in fact the result of particularly fierce July gales.

Hydrangeas Low Street.JPG (112578 bytes)Low Street, Collingham. Beautiful Hydrangeas with All Saints (with some visitors, and a Warden's car) in the background.

Boat at Church Gate 2000.jpg (117138 bytes)Remember the floods in the year 2000? Is that how they got to Church? All Saints' and a 'visitor's' boat at the lychgate.

Low Street Boat 2000.jpg (103361 bytes)Oh! that's who it belongs to? Imagine a boat on Low Street, with Trent Lane in the background. Photo taken from All Saints' church wall.

Lads & Water 2000.jpg (109864 bytes)And the lads thoroughly enjoyed it. Low Street cycling antics in the Floods 2000AD. It wasn't all fun though, some houses were flooded and animals stranded. But the sense of occasion was certainly captured by the number of sightseers in the church-yard!

South Low St & Trees.jpg (133499 bytes)An early Spring view along Low Street, South Collingham. "Are those sticky buds? What sort of tree is that?"

South Coll Green.jpg (149019 bytes)Looking across The Green, South Collingham. The grass has been left uncut to allow the daffodil bulbs to develop.
