The Collingham Singers was formed in 1996 from the Collingham Church Choir (with musicians and helpers) to perform the charity Show The Worlds of Gilbert & Sullivan, devised and written by Dr  Eric Ashton. The Choir Leader, Mrs Bella Conn, directed the music and accompanied the choir. The show was successfully 'staged' in All Saints Church, Collingham with the kind support of the Rector, Revd Alistair Conn. It was subsequently requested by several different churches and organisations in various parts of the area.

In the following four years the team devised and presented four more charity shows about the lives and music of famous composers. The choir grew to some sixty members, and latterly invited the local junior school to join them for items in their local concerts in All Saints Church.  The five shows were:

Since 2000 the Collingham Singers formed a committee, and continued to rehearse in All Saints Church. They have devised and performed the following charity concerts under the baton of Bella Conn.

All were successful public entertainments, 'toured' extensively to various venues in Nottinghamshire and adjacent counties, and raised lots of money for charities.
