Christmas Day at St John the Baptist in South Collingham was very special in that it re-opened the Church after several weeks' closure due to dangerous finials on the tower. Click <-- back button (top left) to return to this page Photographs © by The Editorial Team St John the Baptist's tower, seen through the beautiful tracery of the trees, shows a flag flying. And a peal of five bells is ringing. Could this mean that the Church is open again after its repairs?
Yes. Here are some of the bell-ringers to welcome us back to St John's.
And in the window corner . . .
The South door is appropriately decorated in Christmas livery.

And closer to the tree, we can see the beautiful decorations made over the years by David Cobb's parents.

David and Marie with the gifts presented to them by Revd David. These were a small way of thanking them for all the hard work they had put in getting the Church re-launched after such major repairs.
